I recently purchased a sensory kit for my 4 year old daughter from Emma at Mctivities and I must say it was a godsend during lockdown. The colours were so bright and the quality of the pieces was excellent. It has been played with at least twice a week and is still like new. My daughters imagination knows no bounds when presented with this at playtime. Great product, really nice and reusable packaging and Emma is so nice to deal with. Thoroughly recommend not just the sensory kit but the amazing ideas from McTivities.
“Having known Emma for quite some years now, I was super excited when McTivities was launched.
Lockdown has taken a toll on lots of families with the task of juggling working from home and entertaining/educating young kids also. With the beginning of McTivities, the burden (and stress) of coming up with constant ideas to occupy young minds was eased substantially.
My two boys loved all the different activities we undertook with the inspiration gained from Emma, Ellie and Robyn.
We also love watching the videos of the girls and their adventures in the great outdoors (and their new chickens)! We are currently exploring the possibles of getting some feathered friends ourselves.
When Emma launched the sensory kits, I literally jumped at the chance to buy them, knowing the care and effort that would be put into them, and loved the idea of supporting local also. It makes life easier knowing I could put my hand on a sensory base pack and have a whole invitation to play set up within minutes. Being a working mam, I don't always have the time to make them myself so this has been a godsend. They have also been used as some really great birthday gifts.
I love Emma's honesty also, normalising the stress and hardship that comes with family life. Thanks, Emma for being a part of our lockdown journey, it would've been a lot tougher without you.
